Wonderful pastries. Go here every weekend for pastries for Sunday. They are also at danville farmers market which is handy. Love the chocolate almond croissants and the butter croissants.

Quality improved since months ago. Filling more evenly dispersed, not dry. I have been buying 3 to 5 croissants a week last few weeks. They are big enough to cut in half making it last longer or trying half of another in your purchase at same time. Prices are abt 6$ to 7$ ea for the ones I bought. Am more satisfied w product than months ago

I visited East Bay Bakery a while back and decided to return for more of their delicious pastries. It's hard not to want to buy everything you see right away, but there were some items that caught our eye and turned out to be just as good as they looked. We tried a peach scone, a blueberry Danish, a croissant, and a rosemary focaccia. The peach scone was everything I'd expect a perfect scone to taste like: not dense or dry, but almost cakey with the right amount of firmness. To our surprise, it was filled with peaches rather than just topped with them, making it even better. The blueberry Danish, with its many layers, had a nice bite - crispy with a good balance between the cream cheese and blueberries. The croissant, while layered, was extremely buttery and well executed. The focaccia had all the characteristics of great focaccia: soft and pillowy from edge to center, with a pleasant crisp and golden edges. It was topped with good olive oil, a touch of flaky salt, and rosemary. I highly recommend giving East Bay Bakery a try. The pastries and bread are a real treat, the service is excellent, and the prices are fair.
